Asheville Art Gallery + Fine Craft
Established in 1992, Grovewood Gallery is nationally recognized for its dedication to American arts and crafts. We offer two expansive floors of handmade jewelry, pottery, glass, original paintings, sculptures, and much more, contributed by over 350 artists and craftspeople from across the United States.
A Beautiful Historic Setting
Our gallery is noted for its charming, old-world setting and rich craft heritage. Located in Asheville’s historic Grovewood Village, this site once housed the weaving and woodworking operations of Biltmore Industries, a force in American crafts and textiles.
“Our collaborations with Grovewood Gallery have been the definition of community partnership. The team at Grovewood understands that art and craft have the power to bring people together, to inspire, to make positive change in the world.”
— Rachel Zink, Executive Director for Arts For LifeStudio Furniture
Be sure to explore our second-floor showroom of finely crafted studio furniture – all handmade by local and regional artisans. Responsibly made in small-scale shops, our furniture is built to last and to be passed down from generation to generation.
Sculpture Garden
Our sculpture garden offers unique garden art and outdoor sculptures by Asheville artists and beyond. We have playful pieces suitable for the home and garden as well as large-scale works for public spaces and corporate settings.
