Description

About Sabbath-Day Woods
Sabbath-Day Woods is a small, family-owned woodworking business located in Canton, North Carolina (just down the road from Asheville). Owner and designer Desmond Suarez, a second-generation woodworker, transitioned to what he calls “functional home artwork” after 35 years as a furniture designer. All of Sabbath-Day Woods’ materials are sustainably sourced right here in the United States.
Care: When washing your sushi board, never submerge it in water. Instead, gently wipe it down with a wet cloth and mild soap, then rinse and dry your board immediately. Over time and repeated washing, boards can dry out. To keep your sushi board looking beautiful for years to come, we recommend using food-grade mineral oil to renew the finish as needed.
Please Note: These handmade sushi boards are individually crafted, so no two will be identical. Expect slight variations in wood grain patterns and dipping bowls.
