About Hog Hill Pottery
Hog Hill Pottery is the creative studio of husband-and-wife duo John and Scottie Post. The couple met at a workshop at the Hickory Museum of Art and, in 1993, transformed a former convenience store—the Hog Hill Handy Pantry—into their pottery studio. Their work blends functionality with artistry, drawing inspiration from regional and national traditions of American pottery and folk art. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted and finished with their signature glazes, making every creation a unique reflection of their craft.
