This ebonized ash coffee table was handcrafted in Asheville, NC, by woodworker Kegan Daly. Unique grain patterns and a skewed silhouette highlight the inherent beauty of the wood.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Kegan Daly is an Asheville native. He was introduced to woodworking at Asheville High School, where he fell in love with the craft. After spending five years in Chapel Hill, NC, and discovering a traditional academic path wasn’t right for him, Kegan moved to Winston-Salem to be with his now-wife Stephanie while she pursued her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Following Stephanie’s graduation, the couple moved back to Asheville so that Kegan could pursue his woodworking dream. He enrolled in Haywood Community College’s Professional Crafts Program. He graduated in the spring of 2018 and was recognized as an “Outstanding Student in Professional Crafts-Wood” and received the “President’s Award” for a 4.0 GPA.
Upon graduation, Kegan took a fabrication management job for a local barnwood company. In 2021, he and Stephanie welcomed their son, Emory, into the world. Kegan then decided that he was ready to start Elevation Woodworks LLC, where he combines modern designs with traditional woodworking techniques.

To protect the finish, do not apply abrasives or household cleaners. Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Always use coasters or felt pads to protect the furniture surface. Wipe up spills immediately.
